We will ship the week before Christmas. UPS will be delivering on Thursday DEc 24th but they will not be doing new shipments so we will be closed from 5pm Dec 23rd until Monday Dec. 30th at 9 AM. If you are ordering that week and need your order for Christmas we recommend you choose 2 day shipping if placing your order before noon Tuesday Dec 22nd or overnight if placing your order before 3 on Dec 23rd. Packages ordered after that will not arrive until after Christmas. We will close Dec 31st at noon and reopen Monday Jan 4th at 8 AM EST. You may place your orders 24 hours a day 365 days a yr. About Us -Our hours 9-5 EST Monday thru Friday. Orders placed after 3 pm on Fridays will ship on the following Monday. Laraine's has been in business since Sept 30 1982 when Laraine opened the brick and mortar store Laraine's Swimwear and Resortwear in Fishermen's Village Mall in Punta Gorda, Fl. Laraine's won best Beachwear in Southwest Florida. We also won best Resortwear store in Charlotte County, FL 9 yrs in a row. Laraine still owns and operates Laraines.com. We had a smaller website for a year or two on Geocities before we moved to Yahoo stores in June 2000 and expanded our website. We moved into our new larger warehouse at 168 Raceway Dr ste C Mooresville, North Carolina 28117 in 2006. Laraines.com has been mentioned in Vanity Fair where Martha Stewart wore our Breakfast in Bed apron, GQ when Kevin Federline (then husband of Britney Spears) wore one of our aprons. Also Houston magazine did a holiday feature in 2007 on aprons. Laraine's and their funny aprons were mentioned as was the wonderful line of retro aprons by Jessie Steele. Laraine participated in an episode of Ambush Makeovers where she helped makeover a college student from her tiny bikini to a great fitting, flattering tankini. Phone service and email staff Noreen is Web Director of Customer service and sales. She also assists Laraine with the buying. Noreen started as the Store Manager at Laraine in 1998 and was trained as a swim specialist at the Fishermen's Village store. She is an expert in swimwear fitting and all other merchandise on the website. Tax Information - Sales tax is charged on orders shipped inside NC only. Payment Methods Available - Discover, MC, Visa, Amex, paypal, and you may mail us a money orders or personal check. Personal check orders will not be shipped until the check clears. Problems with Your Order - contact us immediately Shipping Methods Available - All orders ship from our Warehouse in North Carolina. UPS Ground, Priority mail, 3 day UPS, 2nd day, or overnight. 2nd day or overnight on heavy orders may be more then the computer estimates. if it is we will contact you before shipping. If it is less we will credit you. We are currently working on setting up the website for real time shipping estimates.It should be available soon Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are shipped Priority mail only. There may be a slight additional charge for Alaska or Hawaii. Shipping Times - We are in NC. Most East and Southern states receive their items 2-3 business days after we ship. The Midwest takes 3-4 business days and the West takes 5 for UPS and 3-5 for Priority mail. International Customers - We ship through the Post office only. You will be contacted if shipping is over $15 or if you pay by paypal. Shipping will be added by us after you place the order. We charge you only what the post office charges us. Return/exchange Policy - 30 day return or exchange on all items. Clothing/swimwear must have all tags and liners. Clothing/swimwear may not be returned if it has been worn, smells of cologne, is snagged, or is covered in powder. Please try on clothing and swimwear carefully as it will only be accepted for return if it is returned in the same condition it is sent to you in. Any gift item(s) that comes in special boxes or packing must be returned in this same package. Process - fill out the return form or include the original packing slip. Be sure your name and phone number are legible and included inside the package in case we have questions. Returns after 30 days are not accepted. Occasionally exceptions will be made but they must be approved in advance by Noreen Shipping - you may ship your order back to us any way you prefer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise on returns so please pack all items carefully and insure your return. Terms- We are a member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau). We are also scanned daily by Controlscan to make sure all security is working perfectly on our website. We are part of Yahoo shopping and the shopping cart is secured by Yahoo.
